Mission:
To work collectively to identify, advocate and act upon real solutions to the challenges and barriers faced by the children of our community
.

Mecklenburg County is at the forefront of a national movement restructuring how we care for children. The Children's Alliance is a collaborative of nearly 50 public and private agencies that have joined together to create approaches to human services that are holistic, accountable, participatory, and workable across systems. In 2002, these organizations created this forum with the hope that through collaboration we can streamline projects, jointly work to close service gaps, educate our community in how they can help, extend and direct resources, and organize to support No More Cuts for Kids.

Any organization that has a demonstrated commitment to the children of our region may request and/or be nominated for membership by contacting a member of the Children's Alliance. Members must maintain active participation at the leadership level, strive for consensus on all issues before the Alliance, and separate interests from solutions. For additional information please contact us at info@meckchildrensalliance.org.
